KING STREET ORCHARD WEDDING AGREEMENT

 

 

This agreement ("Agreement") is entered into on (date) ________________________ between the

(Lessee)_______________________________________________________ and (Lessor) King Street Orchard, LLC.

1. GRANT OF USE

King Street Orchard, LLC grants the Lessee_______________________________________ use of its outdoor property for a wedding ceremony and reception on (date) _______________________ for up to ____________ guests.

The event space includes:

The back deck • Use of nupital area up to the two-foot-tall back fence • Lower level of the house • The kitchen may be used for setup, but not for cooking • Up to 12 five-foot circular tables, 1 sweetheart table, 4 cocktail tables, 2 Six-foot rectangle tables. The 5-foot round top tables, sweetheart table, and cocktail tables come with white tablecloths • The two six-foot rectangle tables come with black tablecloths. All five-foot tables and sweetheart tables come with white chairs.

2. DATE & TIME OF USE

The Lessee shall have access to bring in their wedding decor from ________________ to ________________ on the event date. The nuptials will start at _______________ and wedding reception shall end at ___________. With the exception of the clean-up crew,all guests must leave the premises at the end of the reception time.  

3. RENTAL FEE

The total rental fee is $4,800. Payment is due in three installments:

  • $1,000 non-refundable deposit due at signing
  • $1,900 due 60 days before the event
  • $1,900 due 30 days before the event

4. ADD-ON SERVICES

If applicable, an additional fee of $________________ will be added for the following services:

Includes the following: $300 for the Dance Floor, $75 for each Propane Heater, $40 per Umbrella, and Waste Removal at $300.  Add-on fees must be paid with the second payment (60 days before the event).

5. REHEARSAL TIME

King Street Orchard allows 90 minutes of rehearsal time the day before the wedding, subject to availability. You may drop off wedding items during your rehearsal.

6. PHOTOS AND VIDEOS

King Street Orchard may use our photos and videos for their marketing _________ (initial)

7. INSURANCE REQUIREMENT

Lessee agrees to obtain general liability insurance in the amount of:

  • $1,000,000 for standard events
  • $2,000,000 if alcohol is served

You can purchase event insurance through EWed for $119.  Their weblink is https://tinyurl.com/txk3t6fs. Proof of insurance must be provided 30 days before the event.

8. CLEANING POLICY

The lessee must remove all material brought onto the property within one hour of the event.

WASTE

Staff will make sure all receptacles are emptied through the wedding.

All items brought in must be taken. All waste, for example, boxes, and all beverage bottles must be placed in the large receptacle bins. The large trash bin is located at the front of King Street, behind the wooden fence. We can provide you with trash bags, or for a three-hundred-dollar fee, we will remove all waste.

9. SMOKING/ FIRE POLICY

Smoking or fire of any kind is strictly prohibited on the property.

10. MINOR SUPERVISION

At all times on the property, minors must be supervised by an adult.

11. LIQUOR

If hard liquor is served, then there must be a bartender. Last call for alcohol is half an hour before the end of your wedding.

12. CANCELLATION POLICY

If the Lessee cancels within 30 days of the event date, both the first and second payments will be forfeited.

13. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
